Congratulations and welcome. Check out the downloads section. There should be some brochures that show all the modifications from Shelby.

If I understand your question correctly - do you want to know all the original specs and what comes as standard equipment on the car?

1st off, Welcome to Team Shelby! That is a sweet ride you have there! Pictures are a must!

The Shelby GT is upgraded with the :

You may or may not have the installed gauges. Mine also is a GT Premium prior to Shelby and some were standard.

All this should be on you sticker...

Does the 2007 GT H differ in any way mechanically i.e. suspension, tune, rear end gearing, other then the obvious automatic, and body parts?

Pretty much. The SGT was the retail version of the GTH!

Different stripes and wheels and most were autos!!

Michael thanks, but after seeing your spec sheet I am totally confused- comparing your spec sheet and my spec sheet I don’t see the same items listed for the handling packages (or even the same codes) I don’t see lowering springs, no sway bars. Was the GT H given a less effective suspension?

The spec sheet above actually says "Front Torsion Bar" and "Rear Torsion Bar". This would be an incorrect name for the front and rear anti-roll bars / sway bars. Technically, in an engineering sense, the anti-roll bar DOES act like a lateral torsion bar. However, in car terms a torsion bar refers to another type of suspension spring.

However, you are right- I can't find anything says springs on that sheet. I do know that the GT-H used the entire FR1 package- which uses Ford Racing K-springs.

Socalwrench,

so if I read this right the GT H doe not have the same suspension components as the GT? No sway bars or lowering springs!!

I just found this in 'Vehicles" on this site,

2008 Shelby GT-H Introduced

By Staff Report

"Thundering Ponies

Ford Racing Performance Group’s Power Pack (FR1) will kick up the 4.6L V-8/Five-speed automatic transmission powertrain to 319 horsepower. To put that extra power to the ground, the Ford Shelby GT-H will feature the Ford Racing Handling Pack (FR3) including special-tuned dampers, lowering springs, sway bars and a strut tower brace – plus a 3.55:1 ratio rear axle assembly for extra off-the-line acceleration."
