1badshelby
That's just . . . wrong. Jim The owner couldn't buy a true Super Snake when he purchased this 2008 GT500, so Shelby Performance Parts, Kenne Bell and Force Fed Performance Inc built one for him! From the ad he does admit it's not real! Wonder what a titanium drive shaft would cost??? Mike
dbackg
how does one get a "TITANIUM" drive shaft??? What kind of drive shaft does the Prudhomme Edition Super Snake package have?

He is USING Shelby parts! And the biggest thing is hes a TEAM SHELBY FOUNDING MEMBER!! Be nice folks you never know who you might be making fun of. SicShelby
Huh. Well... someone's going to buy it. At least it wasn't a V6 or something...
SGT/SC#0471
Seems expensive, the ad headline is kind of misleading, it states "one of the first GT500's to be supersnaked" it is not a SS car. But what no body made fun of was the fact that it only had 1200 miles on it...whatever. MM I hear you, and I am glad the guy loves his car and is a founding member, but IMO it really should be driven... :D Hope the guy gets what he needs from it... To say " One of the first to be Super Snaked" is VERY misleading. I have done enough on ebay to know that ALOT of MORONS never read the description! First line or so said he couldnt afford a SS, but its ALOT smaller print than the topic MM
07SS697
where in this ad does it say its not a super snake? http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/ctd/1105029906.html if he is a founding shelby member he should know better!!!

Be nice folks you never know who you might be making fun of. MM I beg to differ. "2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 2008 Shelby GT500 Cpe SUPER SNAKE, Kenne Bell, 625HP!!!" That's from the first line just above the picture. Here's from the first line in the description "You are looking at one of the very first GT500's modified into a Super Snake to encompass the Kenne Bell Twin Screw 2.8H Mammoth Supercharger. It has all the important build sheet items." While the owner may not be a tool, the add screams it. At the very least it is very, very misleading and poor representation. The add sounds like it's a pre-production SS in a way. As for the founding member, heck so am I. Just busting your chops MM!
mrdci
Well at least I now know what the SS hood on my car would like. Thanks for the post.
kahmann
I used the same shop (Force Fed Performance) to get my cams installed in my SGT. The owner of the place mentioned how many Shelby's he's 'built' and modified at his place, including 'building one of the first super snakes in the country'. I began asking him what he meant and he honestly thought that this car was the real deal. He believed (or at least tried making me believe) that the SS was either available the conventional way by sending your GT500 to SAI or as a parts kit (similar to the CS6?) installed by a super-awesome install shop like his! I wanted to argue with the guy, but I really didn't want to be there all day, so I just acted really surprised to find out that one could build their very own genuine SS in their garage.
