bleu venom
Hello everyone, I'm looking at changing my wheels, looking at the 20" Alcoas, or possibly those nice looking 19s that will be coming on the new cars, but I have a question for those out there that have changed their wheels. Did you do anything to the suspension or leave it stock?? I'm not looking at doing my suspension and I would like to see what the car looks like with the 20s on it on stock suspension. Thanks, Ron

Thanks, Ron You don't HAVE to do anything to your suspension... but I've seen the Alcoas on a stock suspension and the rear looked waaaay too high to me. I think with 19s you might be able to just swap it out without it looking much different, but I don't know. Mechanically speaking you don't have to change the suspension for new wheels though. I would guess that you also would have to recalibrate your speedometer in order to compensate for the wider wheels.

Thanks, Ron I went with the 20 inch rims and tires. Did a ton to the suspension: ultimate lowering suspension package, Ford Racing front and rear sway bar, watts linkage, and baer big brake kit.
