Spotted a red GT 500 coupe with black stripes in Frederick, MD between 9:00 - 9:10 am this morning heading west on Rosemont Ave as I was heading east in my blue Shelby GT convertible with silver stripes. I waved but not sure if you saw me. We have seen your car a couple times, both times on Rosemont Ave.

If you are a Team Shelby member I just wanted to provide a friendly shout out to you. Nice GT 500!

Frederick, MD (Frederick County)

I have seen a white SGT a couple times and my wife claims she saw a blue SGT coupe. There are lots of nice Mustangs running around and quite a few with Shelby style stripes so I am not sure if she saw a genuine SGT coupe as I don't miss much. If I head down toward DC I see GT 500s from time to time. The red and black one is most likely a local resident.

If you see a SGT convertible with Maryland Bronze Star plates. That'd be me. I drive the snot out of it. :)

I was on my way to Gatlinburg, TN just a few weeks ago and somewhere east of Nashville I spot a GT 500 in the oncoming traffic. I'm waving frantically and pointing so my wife (who's on the phone) will see and barely get to wave at the other driver, who flashed his lights at me, recognizing us also. Let's see, that's a total of 2 I've seen "in the wild," aside from the one parked occasionally at one of the local high schools. I used to enjoy exclusivity but one of the local doctors bought his high school senior a vapor/black coupe for Christmas.

Ah, I'm driving up to MD next week to go to court for a *SURPRISE* speeding ticket I got on I-70 just outside of Frederick a while ago.

The trooper was very nice, polite and everything. But did not get lucky with a warning.

Man, it's been a while since I got a ticket in MD. They don't even write them up anymore. It's printed out on a printer in the cruiser!

I saw a GT500 White with blue stripes on 434 in Winter Springs Fl a few weeks back. I ran up next to the guy, got a chance to talk to him briefly. He was career Army, just returned from Iraq. I gave him a hearty welcome home.

Ran door to door down the road in a rolling roadblock, talking back and forth. Both of us put on a couple vulgar displays of power. People piling up behind us were probably wondering WTF the deal was or thinking we were going to race or something. It was heavy traffic and I think we both had too much sense for that. We did leave some rubber on the road though. :hysterical:

I didnt catch his name but was good to see another one on the road. He had just got the car and was grinning from ear to ear. I guess I was too :happy feet:

Took this lousy pict as he laid a patch!

That is sorry. I was flying up 270 from DC the other day. "Godzilla" from Blue Oyster Cult was on Sirius and I had the top down and something came over me. Guess I better keep the speed down.

Your Shelby is beautiful. Did you buy your Red Striper 500 from Frederick Town Motors? I have never seen one in person, Black or White, but the dealer told me they sold one (coupe like yours) a while back.

I saw what I thought was a black shelby gt with a stripe delete at a waffle house in Arlington, Tx. The stock hood was a dead give away that it was a regular gt, Then I noticed the GT 500 badge on the rear of the car. It had tiffany cobras on the fenders and in the grill (factory shelby gt grill). So I waited for the owner to come out, just to be a smart ass I asked "Is this a really GT 500". In front of his two kids he replied "Yes it is". Then I asked "Is the the stock hood", again he replied "Yes, it's the 2009 model" and got in the car and drove away. I guess nothing can be done about tribute cars, but you have to be a douche to say that it is an orignal. Anyway's just thought you guys would get a kick out of that. How did he get the GT 500 badge though?

I saw my first red stripe edition (in person) today. It was a white coupe with red stripes and red

Tiffany Cobras and SHELBY lettering at Sheehy Ford, Gaithersburg, MD. They marked it down to $45K from $48K (MSRP). Thing looks like a beast. Nice car although I like the pictures of the convertible black red stripe edition even more.

Saw a red GT 500 coupe with white stripes on Saturday morning going south on Hwy 15 / I-270 in Frederick, MD. I ran alongside and we both waved. The car had the chrome trim around the taillights. I thought I would see your car at the Kings Dominion Mustang Show but I guess it was only a coincidence. We were attracting attention running together. If you are a member, just wanted to give a friendly shout out to you. Nice car!!!

Saturday I saw a vapor 07 in town. I had the SGT out and did my best to catch up with him in the maze of city streets and traffic signals. He finally pulled over at the drinking establishment he owned so I went in and talked to him and told him about Team Shelby. Maybe he'll sign up.
