rheller
Checking out my wheels and I'm attempting to confirm the correct socket size for the lug nuts. It appears to be 13/16" but not absolutely sure. Would someone kindly confirm? Thank you.

rheller
Why would an American made car be in millimeters?
thewheelman
Because half the parts are made in Canada, it's a universal measurement system, it helps stop global warming and saves roly poly bugs in outer Mongolia.....I don't know.... but my most used socket on my Ford vans and trucks is a 10mm. rheller
Here's another somewhat naive question. I want to check the factory installed specs on my wheel lug nuts. I have acquired a higher quality torque wrench. Can I just go-ahead and lock onto a lug nut and torque it to the 100 ft lbs or should I back them all off and re-torque to specs? Thanks.
