twobjshelbys
I went to a Cars and Coffee with the Shelby Breakfast Club folks. Our itinerary included stopping at the Shelby American Collection on the way back to get a replacement poster that the framing guys messed up. On the way in I spotted this baby. I chatted with the owner. His dad bought it in 1971 and is the original owner (his dad passed away a few years ago). This is a "survivor" - it has never been repainted or in any way restored. This now is #1 in my "cars that caught my breath". (Ron Pratte's original T-bird is now #2).

twobjshelbys
This is a real survivor car. The original owner bought it in 1971. It has a 260ci engine. Note the badge photo (first in reply #1). The white spots are where the original AC badge was removed, filled and then the Cobra badge added. This one caught my breath. It's a piece of Cobra history. Stalwart
We had CSX2016 (4th to the public) but it went through a total restoration. We saw it later and it had been modified and cut up a bit
