:hysterical:

Everything is down in value, EVERYTHING. Houses, land, durable goods, and all cars both vintage and new, these cars ( super snake, KR ) will only go up in value, not soon but they will, I paid msrp and was fine with that, yes, they are lower and some even at invoice, but no matter what I am happy with my purchase, as it is nice not to pass yourself where ever you go.

There are about 84 KR'S here in Michigan and zero Super Snakes to my knowledge, There are alot of nice AMERICAN MADE cars, ZR1 etc. but yet I see ZO6 daily and have seen many ZR1'S about town, but yet I have seen a KR going by me.

These are great cars for the money and are tride and true Shelby's I am grateful to own one, and will enjoy the rare prestige that owning a shelby

There are 5 KR's at the little Ford dealership in Valencia, CA. Three sit outside all day and all night, week after week, month after month. Who is going to pay 73+ grand for the KR when the new (and, yes, better) GT500 is weeks away with all the KR tweaks plus all the new goodies?

Better, humm doubt that, In my and many others opinion they killed the car with the new design.

yea, we hear you,but many feel the KR is over priced for what SAI added to a base GT500. wait till the 2011/2012 or a 2010SS :lurk:

It is and was there is no doubt about that, we mainly paid for the name and the limited quantity built, I thought $65K was realistic

Im proud of my 500. But why do i sensse an air of arrogance? U dont know that the 2010 isnt better. It might be. Dont hate something cuz u like it but dont wanna admit it.....im just sayin.

I just sold a 2008 KR for $73,000.00 I just ordered some 2010 GT500's with NO options MSRP$48,475.00

So the difference between the 2008 KR and a 2010 GT500 is $24,525.00 If you ad nav and hid on the 2010 like the KR has now your at about 22K apart, not bad!

The KR should have been named the OR...OverRated...

To each his own, I do love my KR but I NEVER would have paid what they were asking for them at first (ADM's through the roof). With the prices as they are now they are expensive, but to me, worth every penny. I'd pay $74k again in a heartbeat . . .

Is that coming from experience of ownership, or simply you can't afford one do you just want to bash.

I don't want one. Those on here that know me know that the money for that car is not a problem. We're not talking exotic here. I'm glad those that have them enjoy them, but some think that they have some rare exotic that is no more than a regular GT500 with some extra bling. Some also think that the KR is some " touched by the hand" special hand built exclusive. I don't think that it is that. I think that it could have been done better for the money. Ford and Shelby decided that they wanted a piece of the ADM money that the greedy dealers got for quite some time. The problem is, the ADM's were over and the economy sucks, thus the KR is not a good deal at this point in time.

Right Silver, I wouldn't want to respond to someone calling my car "over rated" or just a GT500 with "extra bling". I wish this was in one of my favorite forums where we can say how we REALLY feel. :angry2:

Why can't you say how you really feel? I have...

Edit: By the way, I never said it was "just" a GT500 like a derogatory term. I merely said that it is no more than a GT500. I never meant to make the GT500 itself sound like a bad thing. For the record, I think the KR is nice, just not what it should have been for the price.

I will be banned for saying what I really feel about your comments, I don't censor myself well.

. . . is no more than a regular GT500 with some extra bling.

It's the "bling" comment, I don't do bling as I understand it.

I've owned exotics, still have one, I wouldn't have purchased a regular GT500, good car, never got my attention. I wouldn't deride someone who paid an ADM of $50k on a car, it's their money and if it's worth that to them so be it. It's all what it is worth to the individual, I didn't pull the trigger until I got a deal that was worth it to me. I tried for an '08 @ $80K but that fell through, then I found a new '09 for $74K. I enjoy the hell out of my KR, makes me smile even more than my Ferrari, in fact the Ferrari will probably go away BECAUSE of the KR. In many ways the KR is a better car.

We also have V8 motorcycles, you wouldn't believe the "bling" they can put on those things . . . I just smile and keep mine simple and keep my comments between my wife and myself. That's just me . . .
