sudden
Well ,I was enjoying the race and noticed that a 09 427 gt 500 package was the pace car. Pretty cool, it was dark grey with one single wide stripe like the ss package. Then the announcer, mike joy said it was a 2010 GT 500. WRONG! Too bad SAI didnt get the credit it deserved by financing the race and getting some PR with THEIR cars. I wonder how many people will go the the show room when the 2010 gt 500 comes out and see it didnt look like anything the one on TV? I would have made sure that the announcer had the right info. Only millions of people were watching! SUDDEN.

Ford blue blood
They had no clue what it was. It was not a 2010 Shelby, the snake was on the left side of the grill!
Richard Saute
At the track it was announced many times correctly. So at least the people that were there knew what they were.
motorjock205
Yeah, I kept wanting to tell them that it was NOT a 2010 model every time they said that...I hate it when announcers screw things like that up...there should be a phone number or email available for us to correct them...wonder how many calls or emails they would have got on that one...LOL
David Hawkins
I think that they were stuck on the Fact that a 2010 Shelby GT 500 Paced the Nation Wide Race at Daytona a couple weeks earlier.
mywickedshelby
At the track it was announced many times correctly. So at least the people that were there knew what they were. So 250,000 got the right info, most of them probably already knew. Since half the people in the stands won tickets from Team Shelby. The millions that got the wrong info on the air.......... that wasnt good.....
