ngnear
I need to vent a little here. (OK, whine a little) The last time I drove my 08 SGT was 16 weeks ago. (Nov 2, 2008). My daughters birthday party. Oh, I have gone out and removed the cover a few times to start the engine for 15 - 20 minutes just to re-oil everything and bring it up to temperature. But to actually go through the gears and feel the power. I can't wait for the roads to dry up and the sand to be gone. It was nearly 60 degrees yesterday and the snow and ice are still melting. Wet and rainy today with a cold front coming through...2 to 4" on more snow forcasted for tomorrow night. It will be a few more weeks before I get her out. Ok...I'm done. rnoggle
I took mine from northern Indiana to Oviedo, Fl. 2500 miles round trip. Beautiful weather once I got about 2 hours south of home. Man was it fun going thru the mountains in Ky and Tn. Had to clear about 5 inches of snow before I could get back in the garage once I got home again.

SoDakMac
16 weeks. And, it is snowing and blowing today in Eastern South Dakota with weather advisories all over the place. However, March is just a few days away so my attitude is starting to improve. My SGT will never see a snow flake and it is resting comfortably under the covers in a heated shop. glroy
not sure of the weeks but it was mid October. the clutch tsb got done got it home and then the rainy season started. I pulled the plates put storage ins on wrapped her up in her Shelby cover/lingerie. I have been waxing, cleaning, waxing, (she is black) changing oil, painting the GT500 on the sill plates black, UV protection for the plaque, white pit stripes (driver side only) did I mention waxing. Last week temp 12 c (over 50 F) sunny; little boy inside says get plates; old man inside says it will snow again. turned out the old man was right; snow on the ground this AM. I have seen too many results of owners thinking its warm enough for our tires to hookup. Will wait till mid April or so Waited 40 years to get a Shelby a few more weeks is OK. I could wax it
russell 06H304
Today was a perfect febuary day in central VA, 65 degrees and mostly sunny,so when my employee called in sick today I figured I might as well enjoy my Shelby GT-H. I've had it since January of 2008 and have had the opportunity to put 350 miles on it since I bought it. I might have only driven 30 miles today doing errands but it was alot of fun doing it. I hope he calls in sick the next nice day we have, or I might just have too.

azmartin
Nice drive to Tucson for Fords on 4th on Sunday and a nice drive back to Tucson on Tuesday for an appointment. I believe about 75 fine degrees both days. Fortunately I drive my SGT about every week for a nice stress free enviornment. HooooYaaah!

I have a 'vert and I want the top down. Second, with all the sand and other crap on the roads I don't want to have rock chips in the paint. Along about late march or early April the rains will have flushed it and it'll be safe again. Same for the Cobra. No long trips, just "around town". Supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow, but it looks like it might be nice enough (by the 10-day forecast) next weekend to take the SGT when we go to see Heart in Denver. skeet
I had my GT500 in storage since the 3rd week in Nov. I just took it out on Wednesday Feb 25 for it’s first ride. It was a great feeling. I had the KR mufflers since Jan and just put them on today, but just my luck it is raining, and it started the exact time that I opened the garage door and pulled the front end out to take a ride. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
