kahmann Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share Posted March 12, 2009 I think I need to ditch my 4:10's. I hate to say it, but I think it's too much gear for the track. I find myself in the wrong gear at high speeds through the corners. Cliff, have you tracked your car since installing your 4:10's? I heard from Colin @ Griggs that the 'perfect' gear set for our cars on the track is actually a 3:90, but that the 3:73's are more streetable and better quality. I'm sure I wouldn't be hard pressed to find a buyer for the 4:10's, as they really are a ton of fun. I just don't think that they're quite right for a tracked car. Any thoughts?
