greaser
with my job i end up doing lots of night time driving and as we all know the mustang headlights are a bit lacking. if you want or know of any other alternatives let me know. thanks in advance
tekheavy
I'm a bit biased!! For me, the CS6 grille lights seem to add an adequate amount of light for even the darkest roads. Not sure how the other alternative will compare.

I got trapped in the mountains in New Mexico at night in a storm and that was spooky - curvey, windy roads and you can't see jack! Since I installed my grill lights it has increased my light output dramatically. Only problem is mine are too bright and I blind people so I had to aim them down more than I wanted. If you go with the "angel eyes" speak up and let us know how you like them.

Reino
I dont know if its an option for you but what about installing the stock GT lights in the grille behind the billet grille. I have driving a stock GT and they seen to do a nice job. A few on here installed them and they had a stealthy functional look. If your looking for the most light the HID's along with the stock GT lights might be you best bet.
2007_Shelby_GT
I think the stock lights with the lower grill driving lights looks good. That being said, I'd like to upgrade the OEM headlights to HID with the "angel eye" halos, yet keep the single bulb look of stock. I've seen some around, but I'm unsure of the brand name, I think it's something like Supernova, but so far my internet searches haven't turned up exactly what I want! kahmann
My HID's are brighter than most other drivers wish they were, judging by the amount of high beam flashers I get. Even still, I've ordered the lights that fit in the brake cooling bezels, just to be extra annoying. Ken
tekheavy
how hard is the install on the cs grill? It's definitely wasn't a plug-n-play installation. It involves a lot of modification to the stock GT grille.

You won't hurt the bumper cover. At least, I didn't. All the modifications to the stock grille are with it off the car.
one_quik_pony
Personally I would leave the "angel eyes" to the BMW's and the warriors with the six foot wings. Driving lights in the grille would have been a nice option I would like a billet upper grille with factory GT lights mounted in the center, but I haven't found that yet. But, in billet

Id love to do that, but it seems that the part of the original grille that remains behind the billet grille facia (and housed the fog lamps) is being used to secure the billet grille. I don't think so. My billet grille stained and the factory black honey comb grille and surround discolored on the outer edges. they replaced it with the 08 install that does not have the grille behind it any longer. It's just a black surround with the billet insert. I didn't work on it but the grille is in there solid without the old grille behind it.
