RUFDRAFT
I want 40 hp.
2006GT500
Cams, electric water pump, light weight drive shaft, aluminum flywheel, control motion delete plates, long tubes, a good tune. Some combination of those things should get you 40rwhp, of course I don't know what mods you already have. Besides I heard that the price of that intake was going to be pretty steep. RUFDRAFT
Sound advice! I've got 330 at the wheels now. Can't afford a huffer. I'd just like another 40 for under a grand - which is what I was expecting from FAST.
69dejavue
Just a snippet found here 50 mag/SEMA 06/poly intake "The gang at Comp Cams had this prototype of FAST's new 4.6L 3-valve intake that promises 35-40 horsepower at 3,000 RPM in simulations. The new intake is made out of the same Amodel polymer that the popular FAST LSX Manifold, has nitrous ports already molded in, can potentially take up to 80 psi of boost, and is a direct bolt-on. Stayed tuned to 5.0 for more details!" 3_valve_poly_intake.bmp Were there any projections for the HP at higher rpms? Does it drop at higher rpms? Cost?
