Another Great Obama Pick

Recommended Posts

This is a great example of 'Leftist/Socialist"' views. Even Historical Facts are not valid, or a legitimate response to their propaganda. Their agenda to have Government take care of them, is central to their re-call of Facts and history.

Obama, just passed, his 750 Billion Dollar Stimulus package, with only 3 Republican votes. How did he do that? Obviously the Political Party that controls Congress (Democrats now control both the Senate and the House of Representatives ), can enact, pass the agenda's put forth by the President and his party.

Unfortunately, the Democrat/Socialist/Marxist Party of America is, for at least the next 2 years in control of our Great Country and all of our collective destiny's. We can do little to stop the ruin that the Marxist/Socialists will bring with this Stimulus package.

However we, true American Patriots, do not have to participate. Let the Left own it's ruin. Only 3 Republicans, joined the enemy's of our Democratic Republic. In 2 years we will have a chance to regain Congress.

In the mean time, it is the True Americans, that will work and provide for their families, and NOT wait for Obama, to take care of them. May God continue to Bless us , and especially the brave Soldiers that defend our Great Country.

:salute:

:finger: Who are you to say who's a real American and who is not? Apparently you do not like our democracy and our country. So why not leave it? Sorry that fascism didn't take hold for you.

This is true - which make it seem a conventional irony. The market has consistently done better under a Democratic administration. And the most fiscally conservative administration of late was Clinton. That's the ultimate irony - fiscal conservatism is now a Democratic trait.

Actually it was the Republican Congress, and the Contract with America, that forced Klinton to become more fiscally responsible. Do you remember when they shut down the government in order to force budgetary issues.

Well, see DDT, we agree again!

Thats what happenes when you try to placate the left,\. You think he would have learned from his Father, re (read my lips, no new taxes) So We take a president that is in the frying pan, and Jump to a congress that is in the fire. Blame Bush all you want, living in the past wont change our future and, our future is bleak. We are in a crisis. And the change youall voted for wwas a change to pork barrel spending, political paybacks and Chicago style politics. Unlike you, I am not going to blame Obama just yet. Iblame him for rolling back tax cuts in an economic nightmare and giving the budget process over to ACORN and Nancy. But, Congressional Democrats are the masters of pork and with thier blinders on, go forward as if it is 1980 again. A mistake that may be fatal to this country's survival.

How about some real change?

Look, Obama inherited an annual budget deficit of $1.2 trillion. Obama's plan is to cut that in half by the end of his term. That's even with all of this stimulus spending. Folks - there's no way to avoid this spending. It took a stimulus plan to get us out of the last depression - it was called WWII. That was the biggest government stimulus spending plan of all time. Until now. There was no avoiding WWII and the deficit spending it required - and there's no avoiding it now.

We don't need to infer that American's that disagree with us are somehow "un-American, Socialists, Marxists, or not "true Americans" or "patriots" to prove our point.

Daddy Bush won his first term with the "READ MY LIPS, NO NEW TAXES" and proceeded to

allow new taxes...... Then he got voted out in his bid for a second term.......................... :happy feet:

And the only thing I blame Obama for is actually caring to help the less fortunate Americans in this "CRISIS"................

Dude - I'm as liberal as they come, but we need to get the numbers straight. The surplus Clinton gave Bush was in the annual budget - not the deficit itself.

Clinton gave Bush roughly a $3 trillion annual budget with a $400 billion surplus. The deficit was still $4.5 trillion, but with the surplus, we at least were chipping away at it. Bush then turned the $4.5 trillion deficit into a $9 trillion deficit through the war, other out of control discretionary spending, and tax cuts. Obama will now be forced for the foreseeable future to run even further deficit spending to get us out of this mess - increasing the national debt to - already - $11 trillion. We won't have the luxury of kicking this can down the road anymore. We will need to return to real fiscal conservatism - not what it was under Reagan or Bush. And for both the left and the right - we will all need to come to terms with getting social security, Medicare/Medicaid and other entitlements under control.

I'm referring to Clinton's projection that U.S. would be sitting atop a $10.3 trillion (2000 - 2010 Ten Year Plan) budget surplus by now ...

As we listen to Obama's speech tonight, consider the following;

Sam Webb is the national chair of the Communist Party USA. In the last two years, Webb has traveled to China, United Kingdom, Vietnam, and Cuba where he met with Communist and Socialist leaders and he represented the Communist Party USA at the Athens, Greece, meeting of world Communist Parties.

Recent speech and statements;

"President Obama, is working to nationalize the U.S. economy", said Sam Webb. "President Obama is beginning, the 'Peoples Change', by Nationalizing, the U.S. financial system ,the Federal Reserve Bank, private industries, such as energy and other private sectors".

"These business's must be Nationalized, because their future is "problematic" in private hands", claims the leader of the Communist Party of the USA. in a major speech focused on Obama titled, "Off and running: Opportunity of a lifetime,"

CPUSA leader Sam Webb also stated that "President Obama's administration will and must turn education, childcare, and health care into "no profit zones;" rerouting investment capital from military infrastructure to "green economy" projects and public infrastructure; and waging a "full scale" assault on global warming."

"We now have not simply a friend, but a 'people's advocate' in the White House," declared Sam Webb at a recent speech in Ohio for People's Weekly World Communist newspaper. He appalled, "President Obama and his plans for a complete, Democratic public takeover of the energy complex as well as a readiness and strong willingness, to takeover other basic industries whose future is problematic in private hands".

"Turning education, child care, and health care into "no profit" zones". "Rerouting investment capital from unproductive investment (military, finance and so forth) to productive investment in a green economy and public infrastructure."

Webb applauded "Obama's, $800-plus billion stimulus package as "a good bill that will begin the process of Nationalizing the Private sector". Communist Party, leader Sam Webb, explained that labor unions, (which he said were instrumental in Obama's election), must work hard, to keep the White House in check by "exercising an enormous influence on the political process".

Sam Webb concluded by stating, "that never before in American history, has a coalition, like the Obama administration, with such breadth and influence, walked on the political stage of our country," "Our time has come".

George Soros lays it out pretty well. It's the deregulation of the 1980s and 'let the free-market do as it will' approach that has brought us here. It's the deregulation that created the environment for all of the badness and greed to flourish in the sub prime mortgage lending market - and subsequent mortgage-backed securities market. The reasoning for all of this nationalization is in the lesson learned from the failure of Lehman Bros. It's universally accepted that that was mistake. That was precisely why the Bush Administration found a new religion.

Another good read is 1984 - I'm starting to read it now. Orwell was a few years off, but.....

Where have you been? We just ended the Orwellian administration. Can you say "Patriot Act"? What a misnomer. The NSA has been bugging our phone lines for years without any court review or approval. That is Big Brother.

Wow, this is getting scarier by the minute...the Obama administration, that is. Obama's cabinet seems full of corrupt people, the markets are down more each day, while Obama is flying around wasting fossil fuel (seemingly running away) for no real good reasons...and now this guy, Eric Holder is our Attorney General??? :headscratch:

You know, I found it curiously satisfying that within just days of me approaching the issue of racial insensitivity and ignorance that the Attorney General would make the same very point. A "Nation of Cowards" is a great way to put it. Deny the problem is there and it will go away. Don't even bring it up for fear of retribution and reprisal.

Ignorance is bliss.

Got a date and time when your phone was bugged? I'm pretty sure the NSA has better things to do then to waste time listening to my phone calls.

Typical response - I'm not doing anything to require any bugging - are you? That's not the point. They could bug you with out any approval at all. That is Big Brother listening - and not an analogy. Plain and simple. Not 1984 - it was 2003.

So, your answer is no.

Can you give me one example of the NSA bugging a US citizen's phone who was demonstrated to NOT be a terrorist?

Of course not. No more than you can say it's not. But I know what's in the facilities. All of the lines go thru the systems and are routinely monitoring all calls. ergo - Big Brother.

So you have no examples, but you know it's happening. I believe that's called paranoia.

Something that IS real: When I was a police officer, one of the guys on the department carried a hald-held HAM radio that was able to pick-up wireless conversations such as used with common wireless house phones. He'd listen to people's conversations all the time, and particularly if someone with a nefarious background. He'd use that information to catch them.

Dude - it's a fact - it's the so-called "Patriot Act". Which is a contraction in itself. Nothing Patriotic about bugging the American citizen.

Dude! It is not a fact until you have proof! To present it as such without proof or witness is paranoia.

Fact [fakt] noun

1. something that actually exists; reality; truth: Your fears have no basis in fact.

2. something known to exist or to have happened: Space travel is now a fact.

3. a truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true: Scientists gather facts about plant growth.

4. something said to be true or supposed to have happened: The facts given by the witness are highly questionable.

5. Law. Often, facts. an actual or alleged event or circumstance, as distinguished from its legal effect or consequence.
