frank bullitt
Grabber, do you have to pull fuse 17 at the SJB to do this safely or does disconnecting the battery and waiting a hour suffice? I've read different things but don't know why you would have to pull a fuse if you've disconnected the battery......static charge or does it throw a code? 08KR525
Frank, I've done air bag mod twice and have always just disconnected the battery.
Grabber
I just pulled the battery leads and went to a movie. Then came back and did the mod. No problems. I have done 3 of these this way.
frank bullitt
Many thanks fellows! Any tips on getting the electrical connector to release?
08KR525
There is a red tab that needs to be released then the connector will disengage. I can't remember exactly if you need to pull it or lift it up, but you should be able to figure it out once you see it.
Grabber
I wonder who has the last COA signature ?
Onirb
I think my dash cover was in the last batch. I knew something was up when I sent in a camera with it and no picture was taken.

BulletPROZ
Thanks for this thread, it really helped me on my install, took me roughly 1 hour. My COA is a wooden frame, signed in 2011. is that normal?
The Chairman
The COAs are sent in a standard cardboard folder. Someone must have mounted yours. That's cool. Wonder if Jenny will tell us what that last number was? Or maybe we should start a new thread and see who has the highest signature certificate number.
