Paint code

Recommended Posts

Someone on the fourm knows as I recall seeing it myself. They had their stripes painted on and said it was an exact match. I'm sure they will chime in as soon as they see your question. I THINK it was Sherwin Williams KV8 but I do not know (and know absolutely noting about paint codes). I plan on writing it down next time I see.

I need the paint code for the 08 silver stripes, I thought I saw it posted once but I can't seem to find it using the search option.

Thanks, Jeff

Are your planning on painting your stripes ?

I have the Chip Beck/Heath hood scoop and on Feb 1st I have an appointment at the body shop to have the scoop installed and the stripes painted on.

So I will be interested in the paint code as well.

Thanks for throwing this out there.

Andrew

The hood scoop, which matches our stripes is Satin Silver.

Also I remember a member, 66DNA, had his stripes painted on, but contrary to what I previously typed in this post, he didn't specify that it was Satin Silver

I plan on having the stripes painted on the hood only and having the scoop repainted at the same time to insure a perfect match. Glad you mentioned the Beck/Heath scoop because I'm having some second thoughts about going back with the Shelby scoop even though mine looks alright for now but I don't want any more problems down the road. I would like to get some more info on ordering and the cost of the Beck/Heath scoop. I was quoted $700 for the paint work this morning which included replacing the tag surround stripes and stripes for the GT500 spoiler using my precut stripes.

Thanks, AF

Exactly what I needed.

I was going to do this but had second thoughts about a car with a mix of vinyl and paint stripes. Decided, since I show the car, that would do nothing but call more attention to things and decided to wait until I could paint the entire car. I have the new scoop and new stripes and after a little more than a month they still look great....based upon the quality of the scoop this time around I'm hopeful!
