NVWSSV
I will add more photos as time goes on.....enjoy Oh come on, don't tease us like that. Good pics. The shot of the back of the car really shows off the stripes well. I had not realized that there are flakes in the stripes. I just always thought they were more of a flat blue. It looks good. Yeah, I thought so too... it was really close to looking like paint but I could see slight scratches on the surface from being wiped down so many times , hopefully that's not an indication that the stripes will not hold up over time when applied ????

He told me that the products used today for vinyl applications are far superior to those only a few years ago and would hold up just fine in regards to fading, chiping, etc. To properly do painted stripes would require removing bumpers and trim to clearcoat the whole car again after striping. He said that also the more layers of paint you have the softer it gets, making scratching and chiping of the paint easier. He told me to expect $4k approximately to do. I'll be sticking with the vinyl. KingCobra.

If someone were to have the stripes painted on, wouldn't it be easier to get a non-stiped car to begin with?

But, painting the stripes, and then clear-coating the entire car would cost you $4k. For what extra it would cost, why not buy the vert? KingCobra. By the time I MAY have some chipping or cracking of the vinyl, I may want to re-clearcoat the car anyway. KingCobra.
