Agent 47 Brake Ducts

Recommended Posts

Has anyone onboard here installed the Agent 47 brake duct scoops and associated ducting?

If so...any critiques? Pitfalls? Ease of installation?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I only have the ducts to get more air in for the intercooler/engine, helps with the heat extraction hood

How does the air from the ducts reach the intercooler or the engine? Are they angled in some fashion to cause an air flow where there was not one before? Thanks.

you can see the heat exchanger in the lower grill. the ducts are open with no ducting to the brakes, thus letting the air in to hit the outer edges of the intercooler and some air going under the engine compartment. we also put in an after market grill and took out most of the plastic behind the OEM grill to let more air in. it all helps with the under hood temps.

Oh man, that's how this whole thing started....I just dealt with Page yesterday! I purchased the "Group Buy" brake package he put together for the SGT Forum, but I didn't know then Stillen was an Agent 47 dealer. I took the plunge a short while ago with Agent 47 direct.

In any event....what's the installation deal with the scoops themselves? The lower corner phony egg crate pieces come off and the plastic behind is cut out for the scoops? What holds the scoops in place?

And thanks for the reply!

Kevin,

I just had them installed this past week. It took my shop a couple of hours and they had to do some modifying due to the heat exchanger for the Whipple. They look great and I plan on taking photos this weekend. I also bought mine from Stillen.

Agent 47 makes great stuff, I have their side mirrors as well.

Take Care,

Andrew Nagle

Hey, thanks to all for the replies.

My scoop and duct kits are enroute from Agent 47 and my SGT Stillen brake upgrade is on backorder from Page. It's a bit late in the year for New York driveway mechanics, but I'm banking on global warming to do its part.

I like your Shelby GT500 badge on the grille. Would be really sweet if someone would make one that says "Shelby GT" for our cars. I would deffinately replace my tribar n pony.

I got it at Mustang's plus and they have a G.T. 350 but i don't see a plan Shelby GT

Mustangs plus

Good luck,

Andrew
