Vista blue/white stripe diecast model?

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I have a Vista blue with White stripe coupe and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a diecast model of this available and where I can get one.

Thanks

a couple of options:

from franklin mint....(the most expensive but exclusive and high quality):

http://www.fordcollection.com/default.cfm?...uct_name=S78507

and another...(from hot wheels):

Great thanks. I think I only want one. Anyone buy either one of these. Is the franklin mint model that much better?

i have both. the franklin mint "is" that much better. it is collector quality while the hot wheels version is nice but it is basically a toy. i use that one to display in my work office. the franklin mint comes with cert of authenticity with serial number,etc... they actually ship it with a pair of thin white cotton gloves to handle it. this one stays at home in my "shelby room" ( i mean my home office). ;)

The SAI one has the wrong color interior, wrong wheels, and wrong hood. Unless they came out with an updated model.

Franklin Mint is nice but $130 for a 1/24 scale car?

I'm waiting for Auto Art to do a 1/18 version in Vista Blue.

no doubt it is pricey but if you are looking for the most detailed production simulated die cast produced, this is the one to get.

I respectfully disagree. Auto Art makes a bigger version with just as many bells and whistles.

Speaking of "The most detailed production simulated diecast produced", you HAVE to check out CMC. They make beautiful stuff. I'm looking to snatch a 1961 Ferrari 250GT in yellow.

My apologies. A.A. didn't come out with the Vista Blue GT-500 yet. I'm patiently waiting myself.

http://www.franklinmint.com/. I bought one a couple of hours ago no problems. :happy feet:

OK....so I went to order one from Franklin Mint and..........can not order.......I am from Canada. The online website will not allow me to order and the 800 number does not work outside of the States. So I try The Franklin Mint Canada link from their US website and.........the Vista Blue version is not available, WTF, Franklin Mint needs to work on their online ordering. I Can by a real GT500 from out of Texas (the car I currently own) using the magic of online but I can't by a toy from the states?

WHY IS THE WORLD SO CRUEL!!!!?? :rant2:

ps I know I can get it through the Ford House, but I want the sale price and the free shipping that The Franklin Mint offers.
