Soft/mushy clutch pedal after tranny TSB

Your clutch pedal should have about 35 pounds of push pressure to it.

A set up that is going bad or needing the TSB has about 45 pounds of push pressure to it.

It will just take some time for you to get used to the way it is "suppose to be".

I had the TSB on the Tranny done back in September. My clutch feel is the same as before.

Make sure that the Tech bled the clutch system at least 5 or 6 times with an approved clutch bleeder kit. The shop manual says to bleed the system at least 3 times. The additional bleeds provides insurance after pumping the clutch pedal 10 to 12 times or until the clutch pedal effort is consistent and positive at the top of clutch pedal travel.

The master tech that completed my repair said the additional bleeds just offers insurance against any air caught up in the system.

The system is a "bear" to get all of the air out if you don't bleed the system correctly.
