KR muffs on a SC 4.6 3V Mustang GT

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I got them this morning and had them put on at lunchtime.

How do they sound? Like a smaller displacement KR. I had 5GTs on there before and all the resonance issues associated with them are gone. Not as loud, but still has that crisp KR bark.

I will record a video and post soon.

Michael

PS - I also have a Corsa X pipe on this car.

They look good. I like the Fays2.

The 5GT's have a loud drone. Do these new ones have less?

They have 0 drone. My 5GTs were noisy in general and obnoxious at 1900 to 2100 RPMs (3.73 gear). These are very quite at cruising speeds and have a great growl when you are on the pipe.

I went to the Goodguys show in Pleasanton on Sunday with California Mustangs. I demo'd them a few times to the guys and didn't get any feedback. Either they were jealous or unimpressed. Either way, I love them. I've had Flowmasters and the 5GTs on my car and the M-5320-S are clearly superior.
