StrayShadow
I heard a lot of talk this weekend about build sheets on cars. Anyone know where the build sheets are on our SGT's or where we can get one. Every document I can collect on my 07 SGT is a positive. JeffIsHereToo
:fool: Why does that not suprise me!?! Kevin 07SGT2591 I asked that when I toured the plant and they said it was because there are very few people. like us, that would care about them. In the old days they would stick them in the truck, under the carpet, etc., but today something like that works its way loose and next thing you know you have some sound coming from someplace and a nice warranty claim while people are ripping things up looking for the source of the sound. You know, how hard would it be for them to put it in with the warranty book or just drop the darn thing in the glove box or console??? I remember the old days of finding them under the rear seat and under carpet and such...it was kinda fun just to go looking for them sometimes... I wish you could at least get a printed copy, like the sticker. When I was there I saw the printer and the sheets...so tempting!
Matt N.
I'm sure Ford still has the data (and print parameters) for each of our cars on their mainframe. If they've still got the correct paper and a printer, it would be very easy for them to recreate the original. I'd pay $25 for that piece of paper. Anyone else? Ford, are you listening?.... Somebody there needs to start putting them in their lunchbox instead of the trash can Steve
