356FQUA Posted October 2, 2008 Report Share Posted October 2, 2008 I have been hearing a banging noise when letting the clutch out when shifting from first to second. I was under the car and I noticed that I can turn the driveshaft with my hand just a little. When I do this I can hear noise from the tranny. Thanks guys. hey, you should have some play and from my previous cars they clunked. But it shouldn't be making noise like that between gears could be throw out bearing or bad gear.
