Dakota561
I drove to Fort Davis to check out all the Shelbys & added a Dakota to their parking lot. Lots of great cars, and really enjoyed meeting & visiting with the Dodge Guys. Here are a few pics of my Dakota on the way to Fort Davis & from the corner of the lot, where the security guy was gracious enough to let me park near the show. StokedShelbyOwner
Dakota, Thanks for putting up the pictures, those of us Team Shelby members that couldn't make the event can never get enough pictures I talked to a couple of the Dodge guys and they mentioned how clean and well cared for your Shelby Dakota is B) I also wanted to thank you for helping with the wheel bearing issue. We installed a new rear spindle and bearings just the night before the GLHS was loaded onto the trailer. The bearing was tightened to spec so all I can figure why it loosened up so much is that possibly one of the bearing races did not get pressed all the way in. When the bearings were subjected to the kind of loads that the rally events put on it , the hub may have seated fully and created the slack. I'll have a look at it when it gets back home to SoCal. Nice pictures, thanks again. Maybe see you at Shelby Run II ? Alan
