hispony Posted October 1, 2008 Report Share Posted October 1, 2008 Our main reason for a switch was to get Nav and iPod control. The factory Nav did not have full iPod control. We put an Eclipse 6620 in our '08 SGT vert. Head unit swap with correct wiring harness behind the dash. Added Eclipse interface for iPod control from head unit screen. The iPod stays in the console, and is controlled via touch screen. You have full control of your iPod. Artist, song, playlist, etc. menus. You'll notice other people have re-wired and added an amp for front subs during changes. Our shop asked first and did this too. I know you asked about Nav, but this unit is full of features.
