FordRocks1
Ok, here is another hood option...I like it and at the same time do not. I like the fact that its something different and cool to be able to see under the hood without opening and closing it for people to see but what about when you don't want anyone to see your goodies? I don't want to worry if someone my break or take the whole car for that matter because they know what lies beneath...not that I have anything butyou know.... http://www.hillbankmotorsports.com/product...ducts_id=290015
Reino
Saw a hood like this on a 50 Merc a few months back I was looking at. Didnt care for it but to each his own. If I were to ever change my hood it would be fore the CS6 hood.
one_quik_pony
That is so cool! I just wonder how the Lexan? would hold up to UV and dust scratches? How about a set of those mini-blinds between two sheets, that could be closed for privacy?
JeffIsHereToo
If the Mustang had a "cooler" looking engine it might be cool but when you look at the Vette, Charger, new Camaro, etc., we have a lot of exposed hoses and wires etc. The new Charger has a really clean looking engine compartment all that "stuff" is hidden away. ilmor
I'd be more afraid of what that hood would look like after 2 or 3 years.
ingram4868
That is taking the ZR1 look to the extreme. I don't care for it, plus think of all the fender scratches you'll get while people lean over to look at the insides.
HORSBYT
Would be nice for shows/gatherings, but as a daily thing..... not so much. Are there quick release pins on the other side to support that?
