wmoore
Ok, I measured the width of my stripes and here's what I have. Original and replacement roof and hood stripes provided by SAI. My hood stripes are 8 15/16" of an inch wide. All other stripes are 9". The gap between all stripes are 1". Now for the question...why are some roof "replacement stripes" long enough to wrap over the front and back of the roof and some are short enough to allow the 1/4" original gap at the windshiels? I know some of you guys have developed data bases out there for future...perhaps judging references. Should I be prepared to lose points because my roof stripes are too long? Maybe someone from SAI could clue us in.

My roof stripes start right at the windshield but in the back they go into the little well between the roof and the rear window. Evan.

I don't think the roof stripes are going to loose you "points" especially given that kind of judging doesn't happen for MANY years form now with these cars and by then who knows. The stripes came from SAI that way so that's the way it is. If you have an issue in 20 years with a judge save this thread! :happy feet: Tell'um I said it's ok! RogerS
Mine are original and are 9" wide with 1" gap. Front to back. Same on the windshield. To the edge of the roof in front and tucked into the rear window recess in the rear.
