Scott SVT GUY
The first Shelby I delivered was a red white stripes black leather and red inserts.I heard this story from my customer. He was on the ferry over to Vancouver Island and I guess it was a little rough weather and his passive anti-theft alarm went off.So they announced over the loud speaker that the owner of a Shelby GT500 go down to deck 2 to shut off the alarm. He went down right away to find that there were 50+ people waiting to see the owner to show his car.He said he felt like he was at a car show at how many people wanted to know about the car.I wish I had a hundred to sell on the popularity of this car,I kind of wish I'd ordered one for myself but am sold out for 2 years ahead.P.S.any Bullitt rumors would be helpful to me as I might settle for one of them being a Steve Mcqueen fan.Takecare Scott

Mustang Joe
That's too funny! My 17 year old son gets stopped in the halls of his high-school by people he doesn't know asking him if he's the guy getting the Shelby. Apparently the word has spread through-out the school and everyone wants to see it when it (finally!) gets here.

Great day for the school and your son,I have 4 kids and they all talk motorsport. Our family is tight due to shows and different events we go to.I totally believe it's a great outlet with a family and the people on or around racetracks and events are #1 in my books.Maybe it's that release of tension flying through the gears with speed,or a custom project finally finished. Make it a planned event at the school so no one misses the car, great at the automotive shop at the school.Ex teacher here, takecare Scott
