Does anyone know what the productions numbers are as to how many coupes and how many convertibles were made? Also, how many manuals and automatics in each style? Welcome Bob k First are you buying a Shelby G.T500 if so they only come with Six speed standards & for your other question about final production # `s for 08` will not be available until Otober or November. 08SGT1977 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Share Posted August 29, 2008 Congratulations on your decision. Since you are posting in the GT forum I am assuming you are interested in a Shelby GT. For 08 there were 219 Shelby GT C models: California edition, grabber orange, coupe, autographed, some unique stuff 1981 or so Vista Blue Shelby GT models: coupe and convertible, manual and automatic 100 or so Black with Red Striped Barrett Jackson Shelby GT models, coupe and convertible, manual and automatic, sold in Arizona with some autograhphed print and other unique stuff This is a great time to buy because the prices have come down. ejrail Posted September 3, 2008 Report Share Posted September 3, 2008 Welcome Bob. Good choice in cars. There is another thread that says there will be no more SGTs made. No 2009 model. That means any SGT you find to purchase, be it an 07 or 08, will be the last of its breed. I bought a black 07 SGT brand new from a dealer and plan to keep it forever. I wanted a 5-speed Mustang GT but he told me about this SGT automatic they had and made me a deal I couldn't refuse. Besides, it was an honest to goodness Shelby! I was sold as soon as he told me it was a Shelby. According to the production numbers posted earlier on this site, mine is only one of 508 black automatics made.
