blueshawk
Anyone have their stripes replaced "successfully" at a Ford Dealer in Virginia. Looking for a dealer to do mine.
Dig-It
Without knowing where in VA you're talking about, in the Southeast, I'd say Cavalier Ford in Portmouth as my first recommendation, Wynn Ford in Hampton as my second.
Shelby Dodge Guy
I just had mine redone and just got the car back as a matter of fact. I didn't get it done in Va, but I'm close enough to Virginia I might can help you out, I am just across the NC/VA line on I-95. My Ford Dealership contracts out stripe work to a shop here in town, this shop is really good, the owner is a big car collector as well. Your stuff will be done right and looked after while in his possession. Its not a big job, but its also not an easy one either.....mine were a pain to get off of the car, even with heat. All the rivets in the scoop have to be drilled out, the stripes have to sit on the car for 72 hours for the adhesive to properly cure before the scoop can be rivited back on, kinda helps preventing the bunching of vinyl at each rivet point. I am very happy with my replacement set and the install job, looks like it just left SAI.
1badsgt
Kimnach Ford in Norfolk is currently replacing all my stripes and hood scoop. Thier phone number is 757-461-4601. Talk to Joe in the body shop he is familiar with the Shelby/Ford Racing warranty issues. I hope to have it back in a day or two. I will post some pictures when I get it back. AFBLUE
I had work at Kimnach done too...still waiting for the rocker stripe. Minor painting done around driver's door so I can't really give a good review.
