Has anyone noticed that the the GT500 has no spare tire or jack. It has a "Temporary Mobility Kit". Are all of the Mustangs this way or just the GT500 :sos:

Just the GT500 for less weight

check out the download section on this website for more & lots of detailed info on the car that you might have missed or not known about... and welcome to the board mastersmech1

Ford's Roadside Assistance will send someone out to put your spare on the car so you can continue on your way and get to a service station (or tire center these days) to actually repair the tire. What is Roadside Assistance gonna do if your car (i.e. GT500) does not have a spare tire? They are not coming to you to actually repair your tire!!!

They're going to flat bed tow your car to a dealership.

Uh...folks....step away from the 5w-50 for a minute and let's think. Ford did not include a spare with this car for one reason....and it wasn't weight, but that's the "marketing" answer and most everyone buys into it.

They didn't include one because it has two different tire sizes! Which one would you prefer they include? Huh?

One thing that has improved over the last several years is tire quality. How many flats have you changed on the side of the road lately or have seen anyone else changing? If it is that important, buy a rim and tire combo which will work for either the front or back and store it where the fix a flat is in the car.

Anyone got any idea on what size that would be.
