johnrehder
Where is this x brace that needs to be notched for the new Kenne bell SS for the 4.6l? From the descrition on Shelby Parts Web Site... Fitting under the stock hood (minor notch in the X-brace required) and with no need for headers, cam, porting, etc., Is it something that can be done without a lift? Thanks for your help guys! pottydr
I think they are refering to the KB for the 5.4, I had no notching on my hood X brace for the KB to be installed, the KB 4.6 is ready to go, sits much lower than the whipple, Rick

clark17357
Thanks Rick! I have made up my mind finally! Just have to convince the SO that I need more power!! John, It's a safety issue, really. Your SO can likely appreciate that there are times when, to prevent an accident, one of the cars needs to be able to MOVE and MOVE fast. Brakes do not solve the problem every time. If case your SO doubts me, I ask any of our LEO's to weigh in on the point. Jim
