Aim Sports 'MXL' Display

While my car is at Griggs I was going to have them install 3 gauges and low oil pressure warning light until they showed me the AiM display. For apx. $1000 more than the gauge install I will get all the information I'd ever need in one AiM display and it's plug-n-play into the 05-08 Mustang's CAN serial port.

I had the MXL 'Pista' display installed because it's the least expensive display that has a lateral G sensor and USB to PC data logging capability, here's what it offers:

1 AMP + 2 binder connectors

Lap Times & Split Lap Times

RPM - numerical and graphical display tach

Max RPM stored for later recall

Total Run Time

Gear Position

Total and partial odometer

Lateral G sensor (accelerometer)

8 analog sensor inputs for temperature, pressure, lambda sond, potentiometers, etc.

1 wheel speed input.

8 MB of non-volatile memory.

USB download to PC for archiving and analysis of data with included Race Studio software.

Track mapping.

Brilliant blue display with backlight.

6 fully configurable alarm LEDs.

10 fully configurable shift LEDs.

Requires 8-15V power from vehicle. Auto Power OFF feature.

Weight: 21.2 oz (600 grams)

Size: 6.9"x4.3"x1"

It's not for everyone, but for those that want all the information on driver and vehicle performance as they can get, it's a hard tool to beat.

I wonder if that's compatible with the Chase Cam.
