GT500Tow Posted December 27, 2008 Report Share Posted December 27, 2008 I have a P.I. converter in my Lightning. Make the best runs power braking. 1.6 to 1.5's 60ft. If i flash it, it only runs 1.7's. If you think about it. Thats the same way a trans brake works. It lets you bring the RPM's up where your best torque is. My L will power brake to 2200 rpm's. That's why i wanted P.I. to make my stall higher. Like 2800, that's where my L starts to put out some torque. Now if you have a high stall speed converter then you should flash it. I found it depends on stall speed you have if you should flash it or not and power adder you have. All combo's are different. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
