2007 Shelby GT pricing?

Was just at a ford dealership and they have 3 2007 Shelby Gt's. All three are listed at about $9,500 off the $40K or so MSRP. Is that possible??? They had new Mustang Gt's there in some cases for more money! What gives? Are dealers stuck with excess inventory?

Any car that's going to be two model years old soon will have somesort of incentives on it in order to get it out the door as quickly as possible. In this case, it sounds like the dealer is eating the Shelby Upfit fee on those cars.

There are no more incentives on the 2007 mustangs. They are gone for good.

Ford issued a final pay of $4000 on remaining 2007 mustangs. So that is all they have to apply to discounting these.

Had you bought one prior to Aug 1st you could have gotten $6000 in total incentives. Now it is only $4000 and there won't be any more incentives offered.

SD, couldn't any dealer just do in-house incentives to move the cars? If the flooring begins to out weigh the profit margin on the car, wouldn't it make sense for the dealer to sell just to get the bank off of their back?
