2FST4U
My first car was a 1967 390 GT. Back in the day Ford had a Muscle parts catalog. I bought a Mitchell manual and taught my self to work on cars. I installed a Super CobraJet cam, deep sump oil pan, hedders, 850 cfm Holley double pumper, Detroit locker with 430 gears, Hurst shifter and Thrush mufflers. Needless to say I could burn the tires in all 4 gears and that was with cheater slicks! This car had all the upgrades the paint was, best I can remember dark ivy green metallic. Now for the dumbest thing I ever did, traded at a Ford dealer for a new 1973 Maverick Grabber. What can I say I was young and never had a new car. One of my few regrets in life! cobra76
Just joined the site the other day. Don't spend a lot of time on message boards or surfing anymore, but I just ordered my GT500 and found my way on the site. JB
Guest markham51
Well helloo there! I have a 68 Shelby GT500KR Convert. I will post a pic when the car is back from Rose City Ford. Needs a bit of brake work. Had Legendary Motor Car do a full restore on the engine and engine bay, looks awesome. Can't wait for pics of the 07 along side the 68!
