SuperSnake 044 at Bellevue

Recommended Posts

Been a while since I posted but just wanted to say was finally able to view my first SS 725. Sorry, forgot the name but it was 044

Seeing one especially black in person is quite the site. At the bellevue show there were probably 800+ late model mustangs or even more and the ONLY one I enjoyed seeing was 044 SS.

Wow! Your Boss looks mint! B)

Nice car!

TKS! There was a crowd around both cars at the show but it seemed a lot more people especially the younger crowd knew what the SS was! Stunning car and was pleasantly surprised how good it looked. Still kicking myself for selling the black one..

I have been on list for well over a year. have a number but have heard nothing since I sent in the signed paperwork...

Looking at a Black KR thats at Shelby Auto right now.

Welcome to the forums, 2008GT500KR!

Your Boss looks awesome!

I agree, black Super Snakes look awesome, too. They sound even better, especially when you push 'em! Thanks for posting

Chris

TKS! still trying to finish up the boss but getting pretty close.

The Red SS at SAAC32 did not look so hot but quite a few changes were made for production and hoping mine looks 1/2 as nice as the black does.

Silver/Blue KR looked killer

My guess is the SS/KR are getting a lot of press in North America? (also the new Knight Rider is probably going to raise the profile!)

Hence, all many people knowing what it is?

I think Hodger, Lee and I are going to have the reverse problem in the UK, no one is going to know what the it is! :drop:

But to be honest, that is half the fun of it and there is a lot of love for the Mustang over here, no matter if it is old or new. A good friend of mine who has a stock S197 says he has never spent so long at gas stations; each time he goes to fill the car up, he ends up with a crowd of people around it asking him questions and can't get away from the pump. :)

I was the one with my Boss 302 (in pics) parked a slot over facing oposite direction of yours on Sunday. I would keep wandering over to give you a hard time about all the polish you were putting on! Our chairs were in back of the boss right across from you so I got to watch the crowd around yours and listen to all the funny comments.. That black was sooooooooooooo sharp. Am sure I told you so at least a zillion times or two... you were so busy you may not have wandered over to check out the boss..

The lewiston show is last weekend in august and plan on bringing the Boss down or else my Shelby. Most likely the Boss. Trying to keep the miles down until I can get the conversion done.

Okay, just took a look at the dates. I'm going to try and see if I can make it. What category do you think the Snake should go in for the "Show & Shine"? I don't think it's a custom do you?

Bart,

I would say stock becuase YOU have not done any mods, When a manufacturer can drop ship a car to a place like SA I would consider it stock. Others may holler but so be it. not a custom to me at least. bring copies of your SA paperwork if you have to and put it in stock.

I will be in a stock class as well but unsure if there is a year break... if so please go in another class! loflol

Your Boss looks fantastic! '70 is my favorite model year for Mustangs, in part because my dad had a '70 Mach 1 that same color (Calypso Coral) when I was a kid.
