V8power
Details are forthcoming, but I wanted to spread the word about this year's Romeo Peach Festival Charity Car Show and Cruise. The event is run by the Romeo Lions Club and is hosted by the Ford Romeo Engine Plant. All proceeds go to charity. The show is the Sunday of Labor Day weekend (August 31st). I'll post details on entry fees and times, but spread the word!
V8power
I apologize for the delay but here are the details: Time: 7:30am – 5pm (must register by 11:00am to be considered for awards) Entry Fee: $20 (or $15 if registered by 8/30/08) --- ALL PROCEEDS GO TO CHARITY Enter in the WEST entrance of the Romeo Engine Plant for registration There will not be a cruise to Stony Creek this year; instead there will be a BBQ after the show in the Kmart parking lot on Van Dyke south of 31 Mile Road. I've attached the flyers and registration form to this thread. Hope to see you there! REMEMBER, IT'S ALL FOR CHARITY!
V8power
I just spoke with the Lions Club, and just to clarify -- The parade of cars will still happen this year, it just will not begin at Stony Creek. The parade will start at 7pm from the Kmart parking lot. So, if you want to be in the parade, but don't necessarily want to cookout after the car show at the Romeo Engine Plant, be at the Kmart parking lot at 7pm.
