Original Shelby Parts

have access to original Shelby Parts? I wonder now because Toyota's body shop screwed my stripe up and ordered me a replacement pair of hood stripe. They claim to Ford that because they are a body shop/collision center they have access to original Shelby parts. Can anybody shed some light on this? I just have a bad feeling when i pick my car up this Thursday, it'll be a different set of stripes.

As long as the shop called the 1-800-367-3788 number and ordered them through there, you should not have any problems. Any dealer or collision shop can order the original Shelby parts through that number--and as long as they can verify the car, there should be no problems at all!!!! :happy feet:

When I was told that by a dealer I called the number myself...there was no order. When I told the dealer that FORD must be messed up cause the order wasn't there...my stripes showed up two days later air from Ford. Calling back to Ford showed the stripes ordered a few hours after my call.

 

Go figure!
