Highway tire noise

Recommended Posts

I am curious if you guys are finding the front tires to be really noisey, I find that on the freeway here in SoCal the grooves in the concrete generate a lot of noise....I realize the suspension has urethane which transfers much more than the rubber which the stock component dampened. I dynamtted the front floor pans and it help a little but curious as to what your experience is.

It's tire noise. I have the 40th. It goes away if you're on smooth road with no grooves. I bought a bunch of dynamat but have not put it in yet.

How about the "clunk" if you hit a dip in road. Anybody have the solution for that one?
