gr8snkbite
Well, i can say that the transplant is complete. New tranny installed today, with clutch, and flywheel....and what a difference it is. :happy feet: The tech installed my tri-ax shifter as well. Like the feel and the clutch glides so much easier. He showed me the difference between old and new before he applied the lube, and the CSC clearly kicked it back out, whereas the old one stayed in place after pushing in on it. Now to re-learn the clutch....goody Tech and entire team were awesome. A dealer i'll surely continue to use. Grabber
I am very glad that you got your car back on the road. That's the same tranny I have. I love mine. The 7 numbers in front of the parts means 2007 part numbers. The 8 means 2008 part numbers. I see that they are still using 2007 clutch's and flywheels. I am confused as to why the 2008 nickle hub clutch has not come out. Did you see your clutch hub ? If so was it black steel or nickle ? Here's my part numbers. I have the 2007 flywheel, but it is a different number than yours. This is the same flywheel part number that came off of my car. This is the box my flywheel came in.
