Radical08
Well after much research, debate etc, I'm installing the Whipple HO / Intercooled System on my 08 Shelby GT. My friend that owns the shop has extensive experience with Fords (over 20 years) and super charging them. His best luck and reliability has been with the Whipple Systems. They are quiet also. Anyway he will de-tune it to a save zone and expect 585HP with somewhere about 450-470RWHP. He has done several of these at that level with no issues. I forget the exact name of the gage but I'm installing boost gage and true air/fuel ratio to make certain what is going on. I looked at Vortech, Paxton, KB and Whipple and narrowed it to KB and Whipple. Either of these 2 are good choices but I like the Whipple set up better and the ones I see on these cars are exceptional. The 08's are out in less than a week and my shop has inside info to get the kit. Will post the sheet once completed. I'm hoping to have it done by 1 Aug. :happy feet:

Matts
I'm in that choosing stage as well. I can't decide whether to go with Whipple or KB 2.8. Well have fun with your new supercharger.

I'm doing the same install. My Whipple finally came in from Shelby yesterday and I'm dropping my car off at Tampa Bay Shelby today. They plan on having it installed by the end of next week. I can't wait. Unfortunately, I will be on vacation next week and out of town so I won't be here when the install is happening. Good luck and tell me where in Florida you are. I'm here in Dunedin, Tampa Bay Area.

Radical08
I'm in Fernandina just North of Jacksonville. My Shelby is Vista Blue. Below is a link if I did it correct on my newest edition, the Shelby Grill. Far better than the other I think and was custom made for me at Shelby in Las Vegas. 2007_Shelby_GT
Hey Radical08, I'm in Fernandina as well! Are you getting Don Barry to do the work or someone else? SEF AKA:
Torrence
The WHIPPLES are BAD! Turn the cars into monsters.... You'll love it. Congrats!
Radical08
I'm having Tony Ganyon from HP Performance do the install, tune, dyno. He has it all in his shop and has done hundreds. I've known Don Barry many years also and would not let them do the work.

Are you having engine internals modded as well? How about brakes - (ya gotta have whoa with go!)? I'm working my way towards supercharging, (read that as convincing the other half I need it!), but I'm pretty conservative and decided to shoot for around 450hp at the crank. I'll probably end up with the Paxton, though the Whipple and Kenne-Bell set-ups are really nice! Keep us all advised how it works out, I'll keep my eyes peeled for you around town, I'll be driving the slower white SGT. SEF AKA:
