SuperSnake08 Posted June 24, 2008 Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 Had an opportunity to buy a low mile 2007 red coupe with white stripe and charcoal/crimson interior that I will be picking up tomorrow if the schedule holds. The problem is now the SS issue. I love my Grabber 08 coupe and am just waiting for the call....but if I SS the 07 it will have that menacing red look and 40th tags......or maybe I just do the 40th package and some Evo upgrades on the 07 and keep both. What do you guys think? I have complete documentation on my 08 Grabber purchase, and am getting it more slowly on the 07. Very confused at this point. Thanks all for the input. I spoke to Doug and Cynthia today about the 40th package. I will probably do the Basic 40th package and Evolution upgrades and skip the Shelby power packages. I will SS the Grabber Orange car as planned. Not sure about the silver stripe yet...I love the way the white wakes up the red. Hmmmmmm. More to think about. Now... Maybe we can get the cars together one nite at Steak and Shake and suck down some calories. I am really torn on this issue because while Grabber is super hot as an SS, so is the red. My problem though is caused by the fact that I am hung up about driving my cars in the rain. My original GT500 was going to be an SGT daily driver so I could keep my Viper clean. Once I got the GT500- I could not see it get wet. The one time it did(barely) I wiped down the whole underside. Then I get the red 07 and I am considering the anniversary package. But then I will have 3 cars I won't drive in the rain. This time of the year it rains almost every day in the afternoons. That's a lot of idle steel. If I just do nothing and drive the 07 rain or shine I may be happier....or I might get really upset. I definitely need some time on the couch. It only has 1870 miles on it so it is like brand new. I just cleaned out my third garage bay today- rented a uhaul and put it all into a storage bay so that the new baby is not sitting in the driveway during the rain and hurricane season. I have a big house but not enough storage and of course no basement ....so I have to pay the hefty storage fees until I can sell off or dump the stuff.
