Grabber
Amazing. What's up with the QA/QC check. Then the 2nd check at Autoport.
Sudguy4
Since they had less time to spend on installing stripes to the top, I sure hope he/she/it double-checked the quality of their work on the stripes they did remember to put on..... cammerunderpressure
Amazing. What's up with the QA/QC check. Then the 2nd check at Autoport. I had an SVT Contour a few years back. After a bit of time I noticed the rotor on one side was showing alot of rust on the hub, etc... I looked and it wasn't painted like on the other side. A bit more looking and the rotor was alot smaller, too. Turns out they used the SVT specific brakes on one side and the standard Contour stuff on the otherside. Willie
It was either: 1) Built on Monday morning, 2) Built on Friday afternoon, or 3) Striped by a former GM employee (they don't stripe rooftops).
SPRSNK
Is that a glass topped 09? They don't have stripes on the top either.
08-VB/W
The guy who was in charge of putting on the top stripes was on coffee break - and nobody noticed?? Reminds me of the joke about the two blondes. One was digging holes and the other was following behind filling them back in. Finally a curious bystander asked what the deal was. The girl who was supposed to put trees in the holes was off sick . . ..
GT500_Grad
I know it's on the highest part of the car, but they aren't that tall of a car. Is everyone in the shop under 5 foot? That is a pretty big thing to over look.
sharabi
That should be one of the few GT500 that would be sold way below MSRP ....Blessing in disguise
Michael Morris
That should one of the few GT500 that should be sold way below MSRP ....Blessing in disguise NO WAY. Thats an ERROR car it should bring ALOT more You have to put the stripe on, but keep pictures of the way it came from the factory and one day when it get restored without the stripes folks car agrue that its wrong, but we will know that it came that way. michael morris
DoubleX
Maybe they just finished doing a vert prior to that and didn't pay attention thinking they were doing a vert again? Of course, since verts don't get any over the top stripes, the installer was just day dreaming. I wonder if the dealer tried/is trying to sell it as a "one of a kind collectors item"/"factory defect"!
