Aussie Snake
Sorry to ask probably a blatantly obvious question (maybe).... But does anyone know the thread size on the gear shift for the supersnake. I want to order a gear knob from www.grabberpony.com for the super snake, white with red insert and Snake logo with "Super Snake" on the side (not enough super snake logos in the car already haha). Is the thread size a 3/8 x 16 thread size or something else ??? The guys at Grabber Pony dont know, and have asked shelby but no answer? I dont want to hassle Bud or the others there over something so trivial, but can someone help ??

If they put the short shifter in the car, then you have the FRPP KR Shifter The new Ford Racing (DT-1425) GT500 "KR" Shift Lever has the same thread size of the Hurst Shifter (3/8 x 16) You DO NOT need our adapter when ordering a knob to fit this lever.( per grabber pony website.) Aussie Snake
THanks JW, Im hoping they put the FRPP short shifter in, but it has the OEM gear knob so was a bit uncertain. I will order the 3/8 x 16 and see how we go. Cheers mate
