overtime
I am looking at Corsa exhaust for my GT500 and was wondering if anyone out there has this system installed and what you think of it? Thanks Just installed the 14311 axle backs this past Saturday. Love the sound. I have the Vapor Coupe, therefore I painted the mufflers black as they hang a little lower than the stock mufflers. Installed them myself, with a buddy helping me. You need two people in order to get the rear adjustment height and centering correct. The centering and height adjustment takes the most time, because if you are like all the rest of us here on the forum, you want them perfect. Here's a photo of the installed product. SpeedRacer
I liked mine so much, that I replaced my Borlas that SAI put on for the 40th Anniversary Package. They sound great!

TexasShelby
I've had mine on since fall of 06 and love the Corsa sound on my vert. It's not the loudest, but with the top down, it's a perfect balance of exhaust and that JLT whine of the stock blower. LMP Performance was great to work with. But I'd also check with any vendors that are supporting our site as well.

TurboGT
I have the Ultimate Touring package on order & should get it in about a week & a half. I listened to every sound clip I could find and decided on the Corsas. Will post a review when I get 'em.

overtime
Those look great & looks like you got 'em dead-centered. Any tips on the install or are the included instructions sufficient? A couple of tips. Have a buddy located at the x-pipe connection (it will need to be adjusted for proper fit) and one at the muffler connection to the over-the-axle pipe. Adjustments at these two locations should get you pretty close. The driver side exhaust tip fell into place great. I had to make a slight adjustment (bend) in the passenger side rear hanger to get the proper height. The Corsa instructions are good, but as you know, nothing is ever as easy as they make it seem. Torque all clamp bolts to 45 fp FYI - there's no need to remove the small guide posts on the stock over-the-axle pipe (these were probably used during manufacturing to ensure that the stock pipes were installed straight). The Corsa pipe does not go up that far. Hope the helps
stargazer423
I know a guy who works with them. He says they are developing a smaller profile can that cannot be seen from the rear and a new system that is specifically designed for the GT500. Right now, the GT and GT500 are the same. Anticipated availability date for the new GT500 system is 6 to 8 months. The GT system sounds great, but if they can tweak it a little more, make it more throaty sounding, I'm for that. TurboGT
Just got my Corsa Ultimate Touring axlebacks on today and am VERY happy with them. Quiet inside the car with no drone - but when you get into the throotle the thing just screams from outside. Perfect sound IMHO. Sounds exactly like the clips on Corsas website. This sounds intriguing - Corsas tuned for the GT500 and designed to be tucked up a little more. I am probably 6 months away from being able to afford a set anyways - I can wait.
