SN8KBYT
Anyone experience their letters on the CSM Plate in the engine compartment peeling off? I have had the car 2 days and the letters are peeling off. Would like to know if there is a replacement or could they produce these so that the lettering is not vinyl. The Dash plaque is made different (maybe engraved) than the plate under the hood, it would be nice if the plate under the hood could be made the same way. 08SGT1977
Forgive me for my ignorance but I did not know GT 500s came with a CSM number unless they had an SAI upgrade such as the 40th Anniversary or SuperSnake package. I thought the Ford built GT 500's only came with a VIN number.

JeffIsHereToo
Your ignorance is forgiven I also have a 2007 Shelby GT, my avatar is my GT 500. Mine is fine after more than a year. You should send a pic to SAI and see what they can do for you.

Jer
Mine is fine after more than a year. You should send a pic to SAI and see what they can do for you. According to Bud, they are no longer sending anything directly to customers, and ALL warranty and parts issues must be through a Ford dealer only. My hood pins are rusting badly, and Shelby won't send me new ones. Too bad, as it makes a 30 minute job into a dealer visit and a day without the car. Sad. Maybe your situation will be different to them; I hope so. Jer
Master Yoda
what happens after the warrantee runs out? Do you still have to go to the dealer to get anything replaced or fixed or will they deal with you directly at that point?
