EUSMCBOB
I KNOW POLISHING AND WAXING HAVE BEEN TALKED ABOUT BUT THIS IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT. AS I WAS POLISHING AND WAXING I GOT TO THE WORDING 'GT500 SUPER SNAKE'. AFTER ONE WIPE WITH THE MICROFIBER CLOTH I THOUGHT IT'S NOT GOING TO TAKE TO MUCH TO START THESE LETTERS FROM PEELING OFF SO I VERY CAREFULLY CLEANED IT UP AND THOUGHT NOW WHAT. HOW CAN YOU CLEAN OR PROTECT THESE WITHOUT RISKING SOME OF THE LITTLE PIECES COMING OFF? THANKS BOB
Aussie67
I would seriously consider the same material as the "clear bra". Either 3M or ventureshield. Just my thoughts...............

EUSMCBOB
Aussie's got it Bob. Get some clear bra material over the letters. WON'T THE CLEAR BRA MATERIAL BUBBLE BECAUSE IT WOULD BE GOING OVER A UNEVEN SURFACE? BOB
aobrien
I would be interested to see a picture of the clear bra over the flat black. Wondering if it changes the look. Al
Son of GT
WON'T THE CLEAR BRA MATERIAL BUBBLE BECAUSE IT WOULD BE GOING OVER A UNEVEN SURFACE? BOB No. I have it over the lettering on my white car, and there is no bubbling at all.
EUSMCBOB
No. I have it over the lettering on my white car, and there is no bubbling at all. WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO POST A PICTURE OF THE CLEAR BRA ON THE CAR? DUMB QUESTION I SUPPOSE BUT DID YOU JUST DO THE FRONT FENDER OR DID YOU FOLLOW THROUGH AND DO THE WHOLE SIDE STRIPE? HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN ON THE CAR? TO ME IT'S A TOUGH CALL ON TO DO IT OR NOT BUT IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO PROPERLY CLEAN AND PROTECT THEM. HOW ABOUT A WHAT IF---IF THEY GOT SCREWED UP AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED WHERE WOULD YOU GO TO GET THE NEW ONES. REALLY APPRECIATE THE INPUT.
