Integra Type R and a GT500?

Recommended Posts

My first performance car was an 98 Integra Type R that I purchased new. I sold this car with only 16000 kms on the clock. I never drove it in the rain or in the winter. I did this to buy a two seat roadster. Two weeks later I found out I was having an addition to my family,(It was a Boy) and two seats were not going to be sufficent. Well I found out that his car is on the selling block. The guy I sold it too has kept it in perfect condition. I have a lot of fun memories in that car. I even asked my wife to marry me inside that car.

I want to know if I should buy it back?

P.S. I do have a 07 GT500 White/ Blue strips on order and should take delivery in FEB 07. So I don't need another weekend car.

I don't know, you might be asking the wrong crowd. Have you tried www.integra.noway.con :hysterical:

I had an XKE once, 1967, sold it for the same reason you did. I never wanted that car back, the other choices were much better. But if you really gotta have it back, go for it.

Gee, I'm starting to sound like Evil Chris, sorry

Here's what I'd do.

When you get the GT500, take your wife out for a romantic picnic. While in the GT500, ask her to marry you all over again...and give her a new piece of jewelry. That way you create a new memory, and there's no need to buy the Integra again. Your wife will love you for it.

Plan B, Dave, I think you saved this poor guy from his feminine side. Say, I have been having this problem lately.....well, I don't know if it is really a problem......but whenever I say to my wife.....naw, that's not right...it's kind of like when you go to a party... no, that's still not it. Nevermind, I'll go write Dear Abby, she'll understand.

Listen to me....

Don't get this car bro, you will be stuck with 2 "occasional" use cars. I wouldn't act on this deal for sentimental reasons. But, if you really want to buy it you can store it in my garage, or better yet store the Shelby at my garage and you can keep the Type R!

You know what go for it, I like that arrangement!

Thanks for talking me down from the ledge.

It's that whole first car sentiment that was drawing me in.

Terry1234 ideas are great ones and could probably get me some points to justify a few mods. I thank all for your input.

I had a '67 Bug.

I had taken my girl to the Drive-In movie.

We were in the back seat (doing you know what) - when security tapped on the window.

I got a leg cramp and couldn't move! (my feet were up against the window!)

What was I thinking? :hysterical:

Whoa, now, Chris. :happy feet:

We're going to need a lot more information about that situation.

1. a proposal

2. in your girlfriend's car

3. but she wasn't who you proposed to.

Sounds like a Jerry Springer script.

Please explicate. :lurk:

Ah, but you assume the girl I was dating was my girl friend...she was not! Just a surrogate since my real girl friend and I were living in different cities. The details of this episode are best left buried. They occurred long before the Jerry Springer Show debuted.

I'd buy it, might be your last chance. I wish I had my first Mustang, but it's in a junkyard parted out.
