Boss Doctor
I ran across this on the SVTOA site: Tuck Away Front Plate for GT500 http://www.ninosport.com/Altec-Show-n-Go-L...p;category=-101 It seems to me that there'd be money to be had if someone would design and market a motorized front license plate bracket that would display the plate at the flip of a switch. That would preserve the clean front end and satisfy the law in states that require the ridiculous front plates.

clark17357
See if this works: http://www.ninosport.com/Altec-Show-n-Go-L...p;category=-101 That worked. Thanks. In another thread about this product I shared that I bought it and thought so little of it that I offered it to the first member who would pay me to ship it to them. I bought it because I just could not tell from the ad how it looked or worked. Jim

There are so many fuss'n over having to have front plates on their cars that I thought there would be a market for an enginner to redesign something like the example only with a motor that could extend and retract the plate at whim. That would keep the clean lines, conform with the laws, and give the owner a great way to screw with law enforcement if they so chose. Fortunately, I live in a state that doesn't require front plates.

It is a huge issue with many and it would be nice to have a painless solution. Jim
68fastback
I saw one at SEMA 2006 that looked like a good design but can't find it. I did find this one on e-bay ...it's retractable and motorized and can be wired to ignition if desired, but I have no idea how well it works. Dan I EM'd the seller to get photos and, basically, get a better "feel" for it. Jim
