I would settle for that Mike !

when I leave it on Tuesday the car will be picked up on Thursday from Shelby and head down to Long Beach then spend two weeks in the docks and then approx another four weeks on the boat before it arrives in England, then two weeks to clear customs .It then needs modifications made to the rear/front lights to conform to uk laws.

In all I think it will be about eight weeks after it leaves Shelby to when I will be able to drive it

But Hey I,am not complaining "IT'S DONE"

Congrats Hodger,

It sounds like you are not converting it to Right Hand Drive.

I am very jealous, we have to get our cars converted down under.

My car is about a week away from landing at the docks here.

I will post pictures when she lands. (but mine has to sit and wait to be converted

left to right awhile after that though).

i can only imagine how good your car is going to be over there, bring on the

isle of man and the european super highways.

Way to go.

Congratulations! With the 725 HP package, maybe SAI should throw in a box of adult Depends - for the passengers... :hysterical:

You should be able to drive it when you pick it up. They will be releasing it to you, right? That way, you can do your own shakedown for rattles and squeaks and rubs. Of course, driving it once may make the rest of the wait seem even longer...

He did get to drive it. His ford dealer came with him and they had a ball. In fact, I think his words were "I don't want to give it back"! :)

Its moments like that, that make my job so great! LOVE IT!

Now if I could just afford one...... :rant2:

Well guys just got back from Vegas

Adrienne was dead right I did not want to give it back!!!!!!

Gary Patterson gave me directions to a road just off the I 15 where he test drives the cars

Randy Block from Friendly Ford drove the car first and said it was fantasic and it is!!!!!!!!!

We did'nt push it to much as the car had only 50 miles on it and as Gary said the parts need to bed in

The conversion from GT500 to Super Snake is Fantastic and when you get to see your own cars you will see why, and as said before the car looks so much better than pictures

I would just like to say a big thank you to Gary, Adrienne, Bud and all the guys at Shelby who made me so welcome.

Now I have to wait for it to arrive in the UK

Post some pics later
